At AI Faculty, we believe in empowering your learning journey—and that includes giving you total control over your personal information and learning data.
If you decide to delete your account or wish to request the deletion of data associated with our AI educational features, this page outlines your options, what data gets removed, and how to submit a request.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account:
When you initiate an account deletion request:
- Immediate Access Revocation: Your active profile, course progress, streaks, badges, and subscription access will be disabled immediately.
- Personal Data Removal: Your name, email address, profile details, and authentication records are permanently erased from our active databases.
- AI Interaction History: All prompts, chat history with AI tutors, custom AI model interactions, generated study notes, and AI-driven assessment history will be permanently deleted.
- Storage Backup Clearance: Your personal data will be purged from automated backup systems within 30 days.
What Data We Retain (and Why):
In accordance with legal, financial, and security standards, we may retain a limited subset of data:
- Financial & Transaction Records: Invoice and payment records (handled securely via our payment processors) are retained for 7 years or more to comply with tax and accounting laws.
- Anonymized Technical Data: General system security and Compliance related technical information like date of account creation, date of account deletion, and total token usages will be retained in fully anonymized form. This data cannot be traced back to you.
How to Delete Your Account & Data You have two simple ways to request deletion:
Option 1: In-App Deletion
- Log into the [Your Platform Name] mobile app or website.
- Go to Settings > Account Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Delete Account.
- Confirm your choice by entering your password or verifying via email.
Option 2: Web Deletion Request Form If you no longer have access to the app or prefer to request deletion via email/web:
- Submit via Email: Send an email to team@aifaculty.ai with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Please send the email from the email address associated with your account.
- Response Time: Our privacy team will process your request within 15 business days and send a confirmation once your data has been purged.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q-1) Can I recover my account after deletion?
Ans) No. Account deletion is permanent. If you wish to use AI Faculty in the future, you will need to create a new account from scratch.
Q-2) What happens to active subscriptions?
Ans) Deleting your account does not automatically cancel active third-party subscriptions (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Please cancel your active subscription through your device’s subscription manager preferrably prior to deleting your account to avoid unwanted charges.
